REF-SVC · THREE PROGRAMMES

Three Programmes, Each with Fixed Scope and Fixed Pricing

Each programme is defined before it begins. You know exactly what will be produced, how many sessions are involved, and what the cost is. Nothing proceeds beyond the agreed scope without a new discussion.

How Every Engagement Is Structured

Before any session begins, we agree in writing what the programme covers: how many sessions, what categories of material will be addressed, what format the outputs will take, and what falls outside the scope. This written description is the basis of the engagement and is not changed without a new agreement.

Each on-site session follows the same reference and photography standard so the work produced across multiple sessions reads consistently. After each session, a brief note of what was covered is shared with the family.

At the close of the programme, all outputs are delivered to storage the family owns and a written delivery confirmation is issued. The engagement then closes, with no ongoing obligations on either side.

SVC-01

Shelf Inventory Visit

RM 590
Coordinator photographing folders and boxes on inventory visit

A single on-site visit whose only product is an accurate written inventory. We open every box and folder you point at, record what is present by category and condition, photograph the current arrangement so it can be rebuilt exactly, and leave a written inventory with a gap list and a short note describing what a fuller engagement would involve.

Nothing is sorted, interpreted, valued or filed. Nobody outside the household is contacted. Many families find that the inventory alone changes what is possible — the pile becomes a list, and the list becomes something you can act on or hand to a professional.

WHAT IS INCLUDED

  • Written inventory of all material reviewed
  • Photographic record of the current arrangement
  • Gap list of what appears to be absent
  • Short written note on what a fuller programme would involve

SCOPE & TIMELINE

One household, up to 3 hours on site, plus 2 working days write-up. All outputs delivered within 5 working days of the visit.

SVC-02

Records & Objects Cataloguing Programme

RM 2,380

A seven-week programme building a single catalogue of a household's papers and objects. Papers are grouped, referenced and indexed; objects are photographed on a neutral ground, measured, described plainly and given a provenance line recorded in the family's own words.

Cross-links tie each object to any documentation that mentions it. The programme also produces a storage condition checklist noting humidity, light and handling concerns for fragile material, drawn from published conservation guidance and offered as general information.

Description, photography, indexing and cataloguing only. No appraisal, no valuation for any regulated purpose, no advice on regulated matters.

WHAT IS INCLUDED

  • Printed and digital catalogue, up to 180 entries
  • Reference labels for physical items
  • Provenance notes in the family's own words
  • Cross-link index connecting objects to related documents
  • Storage condition checklist from published guidance

SCOPE & TIMELINE

7 sessions of 2 hours, across 7 weeks. Up to 180 catalogue entries. Outputs delivered at close of programme.

Vault Programme: Whole-Household Archive

RM 4,550
Whole-household archive with labelled physical and digital records

A four-month programme for families whose material spans several homes and generations, where the aim is one arrangement that any family member could open and understand. Every container and drive is inventoried; active records are separated from archive; the digital set is scanned, referenced and indexed onto storage the family owns; the physical set is rebuilt and labelled to match.

Objects are catalogued alongside; and a full orientation document is written for a reader with no prior knowledge of the household. Three walkthrough sessions share the knowledge, and a written register lists every open point for a qualified professional.

WHAT IS INCLUDED

  • Full household inventory and indexed digital archive
  • Object catalogue with provenance notes
  • Labelled physical set matching the digital index
  • Orientation document for a reader with no prior knowledge
  • Register of open points for qualified professionals
  • Review calendar and three family walkthrough sessions

SCOPE & TIMELINE

Up to 18 sessions across 16 weeks. Covers multiple homes if required. Outputs delivered at close of programme with written confirmation.

Standards That Apply Across All Programmes

Written Scope Before Work Begins

Every programme starts with a written description of what will be done and what will be produced. This is agreed before any on-site session.

No Retention of Household Documents

Scanned files and catalogue data are delivered to the family's own storage. We hold nothing after the programme closes.

Consistent Reference Coding

Every item receives a unique code used consistently in the written record, on the physical label, and in the digital index.

Confidentiality Throughout

Household contents are not discussed with third parties. No information leaves the household without the family's explicit agreement.

Open File Formats

All outputs are in PDF, JPEG, CSV or XLSX. No proprietary software is required to read or search the catalogue.

Clear Referral to Qualified Professionals

When an enquiry falls outside our scope, we say so plainly and direct the family to the appropriate type of professional.
